These days libraries are becoming increasingly irrelevant and library goers are getting lesser and lesser. With the Internet becoming the all powerful source of information, entertainment and research, libraries and librarians are slipping to oblivion. As far as the legal issues are concerned, the hell with them.

A really enlightening article. Importance of libraries can never be overestimated even in the Internet age as the libraries themselves have become a hub of Net and books both. And I think the librarians may not even be aware of the issues pointed out, particularly like those at @nos 9, 11, 12,13. A good post.
